Brambles Housing Co-op

A full building envelope remediation was executed for a residence with two interior courtyards and exterior walkways accessing each unit. Upgrades were restricted to match existing quality; therefore, the challenge was to make the building with vinyl siding as attractive as possible. Terra Shimbashi, founder of Elemental Architecture & Interiors Inc., was consulting for JRS Engineering Ltd. as project architect and building envelope professional at the time of this project.

She is very knowledgable, a good listener and made every effort to find solutions to the many problems that arise during the remediation on an existing building."
