An urban site with severe space challenges (zero lot lines) and cost per unit sensitivities needed full remediation and modernization. The design included new roof overhangs, modifications to the balconies and larger windows to bring more light into the residential units. Terra Shimbashi, founder of Elemental Architecture & Interiors Inc., was consulting for Morrison Hershfield Ltd. as project architect and building envelope professional at the time of this project.
